The crossing will involve all the riders launching from the Arte Vida Hotel in Tarifa, on the southern coast of Spain, and kitesurfing across the straights of Gibraltar to an undisclosed beach on the coast of Morocco.

The riders will be escorted by the crew of the Spanish Cruz Roja consisting of 2 boats for safety and also to comply with laws and regulations, due to the fact that this is one of the most heavily trafficked shipping lanes in the world.

100% of all the money raised in this event will go towards the Mc Millen's Cancer Society and Cudeca Cancer charities, but if you have a different Cancer society that you would favor to contribute to, we will make our best effort to make your donation go to that charity.
